I draft Samsung Electronics.

It counts for 25% of the Korea Stock Exchange's market cap. Korea is often referred to as the Republic of Samsung. The company will not fail unless the country does. It gets first pick of all the talent coming out of the elite universities. Everyone else picks from the rest. It is the world leader in smartphone production, along with the components that make it up, like semiconductors, displays, etc. Even its chief rivals need to source their parts from Samsung.

You continue to see Exxon voted and nominated as one of the best investments for financial stability and consistent growth.
thanks for destroying the planet! good job!

Exxon is partly responsible for why we don't have more robust replacements for oil

With the last pick of the first round, I'm taking Saudi Aramco, and I now control 28% of the world's crude oil reserves, or roughly 260 billion barrels. I also control a significant amount of natural gas reserves. I've got upstream and downstream operations (exploration and refining).

My annual revenue in 2012 was $311 billion.

With the first pick in the second round, I'm wresting control of Monsanto. In addition to my significant oil wealth, I've now added the largest agrochemical and agri biotech company, with $14bn in revenue in 2013. I'm the world's leader in genetically modified seeds and crops, and if you add in my glyphosate business (Round-up), I'm an agricultural juggernaut.

With Apple Inc. I am getting the largest hoard of cash in the history of Earth: about $170 billion, with free cash flow (22% profit margins!) growing that pile each and every day. It is upon this mountain that my business empire will be built. I am also getting a trusted, extremely popular, worldwide brand.

Investors take note: the dividend is cancelled effective immediately. The share buyback program is cancelled effective immediately. It's time to grow, baby. Whoever came up with the idea to buy Beats Audio is also fired.

ok for my second pick i'll take Amazon

theyre one of the top companies to be making >100$ billion in revenue right now, and they are the world's largest online retailer

i think b&m retailers will slowly decline over time, giving Amazon leeway to becoming an even more profitable asset and to monopolize the online retail market

they even established themselves at the forefront of e-reading technology after a much successful creation of the Kindle

edit: you can also buy groceries from amazon

"profitable" is an interesting choice of words there for Amazon

I wanted AtoZ next; good selection

They are poised at the forefront of putting B&M retailers like Costco out of business in 10 years

They have good technology, machine learning, Amazon Web Services, etc...all of which is much more important than e-readers

Great company, although thin profit margins
