It’s n-1, but we didn’t have a list after the English clue. Going back to the first clue, we had chair listed.

Also, I we should’ve known pound wasn’t good because the clue would’ve been British/Britain or something like deutschmark. Anyway, our bad.

As far as fingered goes, gloves are fingered. You wave with your hand, which is fingered. Your arm is attached to your hand, which is fingered. Date is a bit of a giggidy possibility. Not seeing much else.

For English, a billiards player puts English on the cue ball, controlling spin and stuff. In that context, shot could work.

In short, the only word I’m fully confident in is glove.

I can't really see anything else for fingered other than glove/arm/wave/date which you suggested

As for English I have no idea, I play pool regularly and have never heard the term putting English on the cue ball, think we just call it topspin/screw over here so it's unlikely xander has heard of it unless he specifically researched it

Shall we just try 3 of glove/arm/wave/date first see if we're still alive?

Glove + Arm + Wave = hand imo, so I don’t think we can go with that combo.

I’m never not guessing glove for this clue.

Between arm and wave, I probably lean wave since arms don’t have fingers (neither so waves, but you wave with your hand/fingers, so more of a direct connection imo).

Date is cheeky and hits the POE, but I don't love guessing it.

Start with glove and wave?

Well field church were ground

I couldn’t waste a turn with 0 clue so hoped when I clued Eden 2 instead of 3 when rose hits garden also that you may get off of rose; gotta be some way to redirect without using a 0 clue but not sure how yet

I wanted ring out of the way before clueing fingered. It was Glove, Arm, Date.

English was Europe and Beat (the band).

I thought Ground was clueing for Pound (fighting move ground and pound).

I also thought English would avoid pound as it's a British Pound.

Anyone see anything obvious I missed?

Don't think we'd have gotten Beat, i've heard of them but didn't know they were English, should've taken a bit more time with Pound though
