Is cloud for sure moisture? I'm not thinking oil in the black tar that whacks ducks but in the essential oil/moisturizer group.

cloud basically has to be moisture. i could see it being neutral, like balloon, if there were a couple other strong options, but it's a stronger connection than oil imo

ivory is basically only used for luxury decorations/trinkets and piano keys afaik. i'm sure there are a couple more uses, but i can't see that clue being anything other than sticker/ivory

oil is almost definitely the third moisture word. i just think the other 4 are bigger locks. don't care too much on order

so are we in agreement on scarecrow as the most likely remaining guard word?

ivory > scarecrow seems best to me, saving oil for later, but i'm down for any order that contains our next guard guess

oil seems stronger to me than both of those unless you're thinking it's some metagame thing for us to guess more on the previous...i'd go scarecrow last - oil > ivory > crow imo

assuming ivory is our decorative lock(i haven't relooked and seems on par to pants to me but you both feel much stronger) - that should be our #1 or 2, guard last i think since we'll get more information in the future and it almost seems diab wants us to stop guessing on it as of now based on my clue giving read(may be wrong, curious to hear others)

i don't think he wants us to stop guessing guard words unless we've finished them completely

actually, looking at our correct guesses, maybe sphinx is a guard? like guarding the pyramids or something? i know there's lore of the sphinx's riddle that you have to solve to be able to pass into... something... so that could make sense as the final guard since he clued for it immediately after and didn't want us going on a wild goose chase

maybe it's best to just do ivory/oil and be safe
