I'd generally default to not re-randing anything though (and never have, and never will) because I'd rather everyone just get whatever they start out with. And something that might seem obvious to one player might not be to another.

Having said that, if its pre-colors then whatever I'll be none the wiser. Anything post rand is 100% unacceptable obv.

I have re-randed (pre-colour) maybe 3 times in 3 years... But, I will confess that I have re-reranded EVERY board that has had the word "pass" in it.. True story. If I see pass....I re-rand... lol

Yeah, I also never look when I rand, but I think my point stands regarding if you do.
