In my experience majority games have a very long D1 (2-3 days), which is part of why I'm really not used to doing 8:00 votes by D1. It's a very important day, especially for backtracking for info, so I prolong it as long as I can and rarely vote D1 ;p

Here's my current understanding of the schedule for Event 39:

Moderators and (tentative) dates

39a, vanilla — completed (atakdog) —
39b, vanilla+ — [delayed — no new date] (bsball)
39c, restricted posts — completed (rchandra)
39d, majority lynch — 12/3? 12/5? (well named)
39e, all talk — [delayed — no new date] (drubell)
39f, random day length — completed (chips ahoy)

bsball, drubell, and well named, you're up — we want to get these done this year. (I assume it needs to be done in 2009 — is that correct?)

If well named is available 12/3 would be a good start date for the majority lynch only game.

As far as the others we'll have to see. Any reason why it has to be done in 2009?

I thought it was the 2009 championship. If not, I think it will be better to spill into next year, because participation in December tends to be low.

December is a terrible time for me to run a game. It's finals, then I'm going to TS, then I'm going to Florida. If you really want these games to run in 2009, then you might have to find someone else to mod

It started in July of 08 so I don't think there will be harm in letting it spill over into January.

It doesn't really matter though so whatever you guys decide.
