I had an idea for a cool new game. Then xander biscuits pointed out that it had been done before, as recently as January to boot. How did I miss that? I'll have to resign myself to being Leibniz to DarkMagus' Newton. This is sheep or peehs with my own scoring system. I have shamelessly copied his entry thread, too.


To enter:

Send me your 10 answers in a PM with "sheep" or "peehs" before each answer, like this:

Rules:
NO RESEARCH
You must sheep 5 questions and peehs 5 questions.

Scoring:
Answers score the same as in regular sheep.
Sheep answers are added to your score.
Peehs answers are subtracted from your score.
Incorrects don't matter in sheep. Peehs incorrects score 1.5 times the sheep score.

The questions:

People shall be deemed Canadian if they were born in Canada, or are currently resident in Canada.

This confused me for a second until I realized you probably meant peehs incorrects score -1.5 the sheep score. That makes a lot more sense

I had that, originally. I changed it because I didn't want it to look like I was subtracting a negative quantity (thus adding). As I've said before, I'm a bit of a nit.

I'm green when it comes to being a game mod.

But in as Canadian

If the question is Name a Fruit

and Player A answers Sheep Apple and Player B answers Peehs Apple how is it scored?

Player A +2 Player B -2?
Or Player A +1 Player B -1?

all answers are grouped

it's whether you enter peehs or sheep that determines how the point total is added to your score

So it would be the first option I listed.

Holle, please void my entry. I did extensive research. It was both a fail of reading comprehension and common sense as of course a game with peehs answers wouldn't allow it. Sucks too because I probably could have gotten away with no research anyway

Basically, yes. If I don't think of Canada when I see the answer, then it probably won't make it. I will look into each answer to make sure there is some leeway. I'm wrestling with one right now.
