In standard sheep, the object is to guess the most popular answer on each question. You get 1 point for each player that gave the same answer as you.
This game is like standard sheep, but with a couple twists:
Booby Trap -- On one question, you can pick an answer to booby trap. Each player (except yourself) who gave your trapped answer gets a penalty worth
1/5 the number of entrants, rounded up (so with 20 entrants, the booby trap would be -4 points). If multiple players booby trap an answer, the penalties add up (except with insurance).
Insurance -- You can insure two answers. On an insured answer,
only the first booby trap counts against you, and only for 1/2 its value.
If you haven't played this before, I recommend you have a look at the previous run of this game (
entry thread --
reveal) to get an idea of how it plays out.
How to enter:
Send me your answers by PM in an un-numbered, single-spaced list, indicating your booby trapped and insured answers like this:
Quote:
Answer 1
Answer 2 (BOOBY TRAP) or (BOOBY TRAP: Answer 2b)
Answer 3
Answer 4 (INSURE)
Answer 5
Answer 6 (INSURE)
You can write
(BOOBY TRAP) to booby trap your own answer (remember your own trap doesn't count against you) or
(BOOBY TRAP: _____) to booby trap a different answer. You can insure and booby trap on the same question, if you like.
Remember you can only booby trap ONE question in total.
Here are the questions...
- a type of flooring
- something you carry with you everywhere
- a type of jewellery
- a person in a wedding party
- a white food
- a sci-fi actor or actress
Research allowed.
Reveal next Friday, July 21st. Feel free to ask any questions about the format in this thread.
Good luck
