Rules:

This game will be based on a points system and will have two simultaneous ways to collect points running at the same time. The person with the most points at the end wins.


Method One - The Bracket

To enter you must complete a FINISHED playoff brackett which must be PM'd to me before the kickoff of the Best Team in Footbal @ The Bengals on 4:30pm EST Saturday. Your wildcard games will be worth 1 pt for each correct, Divisional playoffs 2 pts, Conference Championships 4 pts, and the Superbowl will be worth 8 pts. So getting every game right would result in 28 total pts.


Method Two - Against the Spread

Each week everyone in the competion will pick each game against the spread. Your teams getting eliminated in your brackett will not disallow you from picking against the spread everyone does this until the end. Every game in every round will be worth 2 pts, for a total of 22 pts if you get every game correct.


Whoever has the most TOTAL pts out of a possible 50 wins. Your picks ATS may contradict your brackett you may do whatever you want just as long as the brackett is in before any games start and your ats are in before each round. I will be playing as well.

Since everyone has the right to pick every game ats, everyone will be getting any pts that are or arent given on a push, so push's will be worth 1 million points

tack on a half point (or a half millionth of a point) to the whole integer spreads?

then why not subtract a half pt? pushes are part of spreads, ill leave them as is

I created this game/system and wrote out the rules and am also willing to escrow under the rules i have set forth. If you want to do it for only brackets then i suggest creating another thread. If everyone/most people hate picking ATS then fine, otherwise Im only doing this the way i said i was going to do it.

In my opinion, favorites win too much in the NFL to make a brackett only challenge that exciting, couple with the fact that there are ONLY 11 games, this is not the NCAA tournament.

I'm not mad or anything, but I will not accept people changing the rules to things I create.
