I have a Survivor Pool going that I posted in the Sports Betting forum for $20 per entry. Anyone interested is more than welcome to join. You don't need to be any kind of football expert to win, trust me.

But I thought it might also be fun to do a friendly POG-only pool.

For those not familiar, this is a Survivor (sometimes called suicide) pool. You pick one team per week to win their game regardless of spread, and you can't use the same team twice. If your team loses, you're out. Last man standing wins.

I wouldn't mind running a no-money one, but would prefer $5 an entry just to keep the blood flowing.

Post if you're interested, and whether you'd prefer pay vs. free, and also one strike vs. two strikes (which is what my other one is), meaning you have to lose twice to be eliminated. If we get enough interest, I'll set the league up and post the signup info.

In and would prefer $5. This is my first year doing anything for $ related to the NFL and already have a fair bit (fair bit for a broke student anyway) in other things so I'd rather keep it small. I could do $20 if everyone else wants but $5 would be my preference.

we could make there an option to be in for 0, 5 or 20 and we can just announce who is in which. the money would be shipped to whoever won that $ group but the bragging rights would go to whoever lasted the longest. just a thought

OK single elim it is. So here's how it will work. All POG regulars are welcome to join, for flowers or not. 20 roses is the regular entry. You can play for 10 or 5 if you prefer (no other amounts please). You'll get action on whatever you decide to enter for. Obv you can only scoop the whole bouquet if you play for the full 20. Otherwise there will be sidepots. I'll collect the fees, and manage the entries. If another florist wants to escrow the flowers until the bouquet is awarded that's fine.
