I want to see some campaigns today

why should I vote for you?

I am, indeed, declaring my official candidacy.

Tough group to follow as I'm not one of the most creative writers out there or a master of the english language, but I'll try my best to live up to expectations.


My intentions are pretty clear and have been throughout the whole game.
I'm a little bit sad to see fins go, but obviously understand the reasoning.

The thoughts I posted saturday haven't changed much aside from that I'm very intrigued by Bandi voting me early in the day when I had decleared that I didn't think I could trust him.
My personal stable of researchers will be looking into this rather fascinating "Crash" character.

I hope there are a fair amount of suggestions if I am elected (well, even if I'm not). The decision would definitely be my own, but opinions will be taken into consideration.

I imagine most people would want to see an Arnold boot, as he's acknowledged that he doesn't really care about the game, but my mind isn't made up yet.
With that said, the way this game has been going has been very enjoyable and desirable.
I'm glad there weren't huge fights between high volume posters and we took care of the non-participants for the most part as I'd suggested from the start, so that basically everyone who will have a hand in deciding the winner has actually been playing the game and making the thread fun to read.

The level of strategy has been less than I was hoping for when I decided to sign up, can't lie, but we probably maxed out on what was possible with the group/game.

FWIW, in case it wasn't obvious, I'm not on board with Bandi's suggestion to thunderdome it up between remaining non-mayors.
wsop will have nothing to fear in that regard and I doubt I would have if he gets elected either.

Hopefully there will a fair amount of suggestions who I should get rid of and people making their case why they should stay.
I think everyone that is in danger knows he's in danger.

Crash understands that you felt like you couldn't trust him, given that he mentioned you as a consideration for elimination when he was mayor. It's only a natural reaction. Crash prefers you to be mayor though because you haven't been yet and you've been expressing a wish to be for some time now. Plus, you are no longer someone that Crash is interested in seeing leave the game. You have been consistently active and spoken your mind and that is recommendable.

I do not want to take away any of the thunder from PE #1, but I would like to preliminarily announce that I will be tossing my hat into the ring for candidacy tomorrow.

I will be running on the campaign of free-trade, and free-love.

I think it is going to be a very important "turning point" type decision tomorrow, so I want the opportunity to show that I can make tough decisions, while making correct decisions.

I still support a Schwarzenegger eviction fwiw. I know people are having reservations about evicting our very first mayor, but his love for POG had faded with every inauguration.

Today has made my decision a whole lot more difficult.
I came into the day pretty sure that I would evict Bandi if elected, but then he was the second person to vote me early in the day and Arnold had yet an other day without posts.


Having said that, there is still that itch of distrust for when you would be mayor again, which would without a doubt happen soon with your creative writing and popularity. More than likely earlier than I would become mayor again and it doesn't look like anybody else would be likely to evict you any time soon.

So the point is just that I think it's extremely likely you would evict me in a couple of days if elected, if not because you wanted me gone earlier and said I was here to "stir things up", then definitely now that I expressed that I couldn't trust you and had made it clear you're on the hot seat.
In fact, I think you'd be stupid not to do it and stupid is certainly not the vibe I'm getting.

You're also one of the very likely candidates to win this game if I don't evict you right here in my estimation, so my decision is to


evict Bandicoot

Honestly, I wouldn't have an issue without anyone but Arnold and I guess shorty, since he can't post at all and probably couldn't even evict.

FWIW, if I'm elected again today (yeah, right ), I'm definitely booting Arnold this time. If he's not just modkilled before that, that is.

Fair ladies and gentlemen of Pogland I have some very interesting short messages for you.

I am announcing my run for election. Apart from my unexpected but unavoidable disappearance last week I have been a fair and loyal member of the community, supporting campaigns and when I was elected I acted for the benefit of the community.

I am running on a platform of finally ridding ourselves of the deadwood that has been bringing us down, making evictions that aren't fuelled by self interest and bringing everyone together.

Vote TheDean2 to be the mayor, and I will not disappoint.
