Is anyone else having significant lag time on the site? Every time I try to post something it freezes for a while, then tells me I can't double post in 25 seconds, then takes me to my profile, and then when I come back to the thread my post is here.

I don't know about that theory, but here's how I feel about the vote.

I haven't played in forever, so lynching me day 1 would kind of suck for me. A newer player could easily do it, because, after all, I mean, who am I to get treated like a special snowflake?

But Montecore has been around for a while, so he has to appear reluctant to lynch me, he thinks. But if he actually WERE reluctant, he would have an at least quasi-compelling reason to do so, or he wouldn't vote me.

I find the whole "I have a super-secret reason" thing annoying and wolfy. Wolves play games. Villagers should village. Put it all out there. Let people see your thought processes. The village wins when it finds itself.

My guess is Monte is just letting his read breathe & see what happens because if he says something he thinks it might alter the way you respond as a result in either alignment, but who knows?

I think as a wolf there he's more likely to want to drive through his case forcefully, but the day is still young, so maybe not.

You're focusing on the part about Monte feeling bad, when the context of my assertion is about him planting seeds, and then the second paragraph about Monte starting villa wagons but not necessarily ending up on them as a wolf.

You can keep chasing your tail about the frowny face but the other two reasons are more compelling to me.
