But I mean how does/would that work? He just tells the thread then it's a free-for-all. You have to kill someone to take a stone, right? So if a villager is revealed to have a stone then it will have to result in villa on villa violence or the wolves will just take it.

well he obviously doesn't out it if he knows a villa has a stone
at this point it is highly likely that the wolves have most of the stones, but weatherguy has not outted his information because he currently believes the information he has does not make it worthwhile

But he wouldn't KNOW their alignment (unless they were peeked).

I guess I just don't really see how that role makes sense. Seems more likely to be a neutral/wolf who is just openly trying to get his hands on all the stones.

Ignore that QB post, in the middle of an MQ.

Yeah the character most interested in the stones is Thanos and he's not gonna be a villager.

mexineil
you are currently high priority on my shats list.
i think it is important we limit v/v violence though, can you make a case for the death of others or a case saving yourself?

However, the Asgardians have a lot of knowledge of the stones as well, particularly Odin.

I almost quoted this a few days ago, but I couldn't quite articulate why I thought this made it very likely for Vig to be a wolf. I still can't really, just something about the uselessness of the read overall, and the need to say his read is neutral, then include him on a neutral/wolfy list. Like surely he has a neutral read on all other players by definition? And I think he actually had wolf reads on the other 3 in that bottom section.

Anyway, that.

i can see the collector, nova prime or that scientist from thor being a stone finder.

Biggs in the first post is supposed to be Viggs, obv. Just didn't wanna correct it in the quote.

i noticed the same thing mexineil, in his later list he puts me (v), banks (v), and viggo in his neutral/wolfs too

I'm not talking about lore wrt the roles, I'm talking about the mechanics of how such a role works, and I don't see how a villa gem searcher would be a likely role unless it had some other related abilities.

Mexi, I thought that list from Ben is pretty significant as well. Everyone who has flipped from it has been a villager so far.

yeah i agree, he also mentioned he had significant nerfs (vote counting for 0, dying with less votes than needed) before n3.
seems like the stone peeking possibly doesn't compensate for that.
something that should be dealt with when weatherguy re-enters the thread (and i believe he said he would be back before itas)

Mexi, seems really likely that the village needs some sort of role related to finding stones or it's massively imbalanced. Obviously the wolves can talk about stones in confidence.

I'm not quite as in tune as that here because weekend - in Futurama I just felt at one with the game. I'm working on it though. And I don't think hero shatting is a good idea for me today.
