It's not so much that his read is different, it's the way he phrased it and the fact that I can't understand how anyone could possibly think that. Which means it's likely that he's a villager and really does think that.

That is not a response I thought I would get from Silman. If I am a villager, I come in and post a bunch of solid reads and some random guy (we haven't played together I think) comes in and instantly calls me a wolf for that, I am PISSED. Had he been pissed (and there was no tone read that it is fake pissed), I would lock him villager.

He responded in a way I would respond as a wolf. ORLY? WHY? Which doesn't give away much.

HOWEVER, I am not a good player so what I would do is probably the exact opposite of what the good player would do lol.

Anyway, those two little sentences extracted a bunch of reactions ITT, which is what I wanted. Now we can all work on them!

The funny thing about Mets is that I never said I peeked him wolf.

I said I had something that would make him get all metsy (a simple early D1 jopke vote) but he jumped to the conclusion that I was going to "fakepeek" him wolf.

Now he's morphed his own paranoia into me really peeking him wolf and he's said some things that are borderline douche. And by that, I mean douche and not douchenozzle or douche-some-other-benign-suffix.

That said, I think this is one spot where it's actually fairly villagery.
This isn't a "lets set him up as a mislynch later" sort of thing, it feels more like a "I'm trying to make reads and figure stuff out but everyone says my read is wrong but it's my read damnit" which is really new-villagery.
