Cause I read the first several pages of the town games he played and the first few pages of the mafia game he played (he only showed up around pg 14) and to me his general tone and attitude is more reminiscent of the mafia game than the town game.

I have a tough time making legitimate cases on people because a lot of how I play is instinctual and just picking up on minute details with regards to people's play, especially when I'm familiar with them.

Cory has seen me do this in two separate games now and be right in both cases.

and re: tappo I don't mind a little hyperbole. I read it as him trying to establish himself as a leader which seems villagery. I think you also have to allow for the complete lack of meta and the different cultures. I mean I'm not saying he's LACK KLAIRE or anything but he feels to me the same way xhad felt last game, very pure. This is an early read blah blah but I guess I just care more about the feels than dissecting the logic at the moment

This is why it's so much better to have reasons for things.

Not only is it easier for people to trust you, you might actually be able to convince someone of something.

"I'm new here and I don't know any of you and I come from a site where easy things are hard to fake but I have a feeling in my bones that this guy who most people have difficulty reading is a wolf and I don't care if you've played 200 games with him and never get his role wrong, I'm pretty sure I can read him better than you can" doesn't necessarily make me think you're a wolf but it sure as hell doesn't inspire confidence in your abilities.

Tappo seems pretty villagery to me but he's good. That's all cory was saying and he's right.
