I kinda buy the grant was a sacrificial lamb idea.

jsmith comes into the thread thinking he has a great case on grant but he missed the most obvious reason to vote grant.

jsmith probably more powerful wolf than grant.

I am going to be gone starting at 1pm and only be able to intermittently phone post. So I will park my vote on one of those two and likely keep it there until EOD. I will be able to check the thread and post some but not to the level you all have come to expect from me.

right now, we can be relatively sure that we have the following villagers:

birdman (backup joat)
master (mason #1)
sun (wolf vig target, although we don't really know how/why he knows that)
toedder (peeked by luckbox)
vr (peeked by birdman)

we also have a mason #2, double voter, vig, and angel that can all clear themselves at some point

I thought this through and in an ideal world I would claim around 4-5pm. Plenty of time for everyone to readjust and make sense of the claim but also some time for people to interact.

But since I am going to be gone from 1pm onward that didn't make sense.

I wanted to make sure I was around for a few hours after the claim to get the village coalition together.

he's a villager. he only got a 1-time JOAT use, it even said so in the NK writeup from n1

why would a wolf try to claim that when they're this far ahead? just to get a now-vanillager to counterclaim?

We don't need to argue the validity of my claim. We know 100% a backup JOAT is in the game and alive. Either I am the backup JOAT, or I am lying and a wolf and the backup JOAT can get me now by countering.
