I hate the traitor role

Hey which one of the villagers who have been actively lynching wolves all game is actually a secret wolf that the wolves don't even know!

Yeah.

I think it's unlikely that the traitor ever got recruited. Villagers had every incentive to fake being a traitor. From the wolves' point of view, the benefits of a successful recruitment are smaller than the risk of outing the traitor, so they need to be quite certain of who the traitor is before they go for it.

It's too late now, of course.

I reread D-Sky because I figured that's the place I might be ****ing up, but no, he's genuinely villagery. I doubt Gambit can bring this level of involvement and interactivity as a wolf. He's very reactive and is so in a natural way that makes sense. I get no sense from his posts that he knows anyone's roles or is doing things for tactical reasons.

It's within the realm of possibility that he's the traitor and has decided that his best bet is to go rogue and village to the best of his ability. I've seen lost wolves play better than what you'd expect from them as pack wolves. Still, lynching him or anyone today on the premise that they're the traitor is a bad idea. It's just much easier to PoE this down if we concentrate on hitting the wolf vig - and the approach probably doesn't do much to hurt our odds of lynching the traitor.

If memory serves, Sky has also gotten villager leans from a whole bunch of people who've played with him, which is somewhat unlikely to happen if he's a regular old wolf.

And that means that the final pack wolf is in Nike/Dice. With a bit of luck, the other one is the traitor.

Jay is spewed clear from pack wolf-dom by Killer and quite villagery anyways.

Of the three that remain, D-Sky is the most villagery one.

We're left with Dice and Nike. That one's close.

Well nike was on killer early and stayed there even as rascals wagon took off. Think that is clearimg for him at all?

What makes me loathe to clear Nike for it is I don't see how he arrived at the position. He had Killer as villagery in the early going, then mentioned Killer was slanking, then on d3 was confident that Killer was a wolf. He didn't give any reasons for it; he just voted for Killer and repeated his position a few times.

Thinking about it strategically, Killer needed to make it to n4 to get another shot. I'm not sure how realistic it is to expect him to dodge two lynches and potentially a vig shot when seemingly every mechanically clear villager has him as a wolf. For a good long while it looked like he'd survive for one day, but if the CFD never happened, he would have been in deep trouble on d4.

Telco's quite dead after Rascal's death. I don't much care what he says at that point. If he doesn't get vigged, he gets lynched over Nike every time. Prior to the lynch he seemed happy to stick with Rascal and leave the rest to be considered at some later date.

Of course none of this shows that Nike is a wolf, just that he could be one. And at that point you're left considering who has been villagery and who has not.
