I have an odd feeling spruce is going to flip overwhelmed villager, but it's mainly for some light tonal stuff (e.g. responding to TehBankertin with "you are so going to eat your hat on this" -- IME this is not something wolves who feel "outed" usually say) and I don't feel like going all out to save him
