So Doctor/Server/Judge/Penguin/Mammoth/Pumpkin is 6. Do you think Game or Story was a part of that? I'm having a tough time seeing it. If not we need another Order word.

Memory could be it. Worth a shot?

You think Memory can be an Order word? Like memorizing the order of things? Seems a little weak, but possible.

Could be life AND memory.

Oh, I was only thinking of the subs that go in the water. Dammit, that was gettable.

I was very impressed with you guys backing off of Christmas for order (presents) especially when life was clued (birth of Jesus, new life to humankind, etc). I wasn’t fully sure yet what I was going to clue for Christmas/Hole/Page.

Oh, AND Christmas play. ffs, what were you guys thinking not guessing Christmas????

Really great logic on skipping Christmas, you nailed it. "life story" was the thought to get you to skip christmas, and hoping that you knew Judge was obvious for order.

I absolutely took a shot with Order, but I thought it was worth it.

I wanted to use a "life" word, but bowler was there. Was that a mistake? The first 2 because they have a taxonomic order. The next 3 because doctor's orders, you order food from a server, and a judge makes orders. Court was a calculated "meh". I knew you'd guess but I thought the clue would remain strong. These 3 also have a taxonomic order if you distill them down to 'human'. Sub, because suborder is a thing. Also things are often ordered into a hierarchy by which sub-components/elements exist. The weakest word for that clue, but I wanted to take a shot. Thoughts?

A play has a story. You play a game. I was between that and plot, and to be perfectly honest, I accidentally submitted play...wanted to do plot. I could have edited it before the edit message appearing window was over, but I thought that would be poor sportsmanship. Would that have been a better clue for these two?

I was begging that they'd pass for this very reason after dodging Christmas

Honestly probably would have done better if my words were slightly less connected. Seeing so many connected words with low risk blockers made me want to take a shot. no regrets

Nich had Hole on his top three for Earth but then it was never mentioned again and I couldn’t be confident they’d come back to it without me clueing for it again.

Something like tree - 3 had popped into my head, but I hadn’t thought much about it. Would’ve made things interesting for sure!

If either of us had thought of subs as the sandwiches, I think we would have gotten there.
