Orbitals are electron shells that can have a charge. It's a little weak, but my main concern is that it's their last word.

Have to assume either overlap or that Frosty is a 2 clue only.

I'm leaning towards the latter, which means that life CAN'T be for more than one of these clues. So if life is an orbit or elf word, then we're missing a Frosty word.

How about jumper for elf? That's British for sweater, so Christmas sweater, and a (American) jumper is what will ferrel wore in Elf.

I still like charge for orbit - I see what you mean for their last word, but I don't see what else it could be

I get the charge/orbit thing, but I don't think I can be convinced without explicitly stating what their last word is.

Elf as genie/jumper? I guess that's possible. Brutal combo to try to put together though.

I don't love anything for elf.

I think jumper is a touch better, because baby isn't based on much. Jumper is very thin tho, TBH. If you prefer baby, I won't argue

I'd like baby better in a vacuum, but is elf really what you'd want for genie/baby?

I guess it makes sense that it could be genie/jumper, but my reservation is that why would IBD even try to make that combo? Seems so hard to make, and we were already behind.

(Though I guess the state of being behind could lead one to attempt riskier plays)

Also, I’d thought maybe orbital rather than orbit, but sure if that helps you guys get any closer to nerve.

Over 50% of Icelanders believe in elves! I knew eb had been to Iceland and took a shot at him knowing that little piece of trivia. I only knew because my favorite Sigur Ros song translates to “Staring Elf,” which is about an elf that watches you while you sleep.

Oh well, this was a complete **** board and I’m glad we’re finally done. Nice effort, team! gg reds

Yeah, I was sort of confused that smoothie wasn't mentioned once. That would have been my first guess. It's even capitalized which (although it hits Iceland too) hits smoothie (think Wendy's Frosty) really hard.

Yes, Frosty was for Life (he came to life one day), Smoothie (Wendy’s Frosty and smoothies are ice cold/frosty drinks), and Iceland (because Iceland is cold/frosty).

I capitalized it to make sure we got Life, because unlimited could’ve made it seem like Life was no good, since it was the team’s last word mentioned.

The biggest problem was that we were never getting Nerve and guessed two red words. Oh well, next!
