btw i litearlly outleveled myself at least to the 5th level last night and sent in an andrew nk before changing it to magic. would it have been any different for you if it was tweed/FN/magic f3?

So, funny story. I woke up the morning after I was nightkilled and thought to myself... I have this bad feeling it's FN. I don't see any way that the others are wolves.

Problem was that I had already said what I said on my last day, and my lack of pressure on FN was based on the reads of others, not my own read. I think I could have sorted this out... problem is, I would have needed until the final day, I was dead, and there was NO way I was gonna make it to final day even if I had still been alive.

Andrew - facepalm at being forced to vote early. Also, facepalm at saying TWICE that you are ok with FN winning if he's a wolf. If you have enough reason to say that, you have enough reason to wait longer.

I stand by the binks lynch... village MVP or not. He confused things more than he needed to near the end, and he had cleared FN the next day after the w/w wagons. We should have been having discussion about "who next", and had he managed to do that, he probably would have ended up back out of hot water like magic did.

Magic, grrrr at that "let's force a flip" vote.

All of that said, FN - you played it really well. I had you in doubt, then you played it smooth enough that I let you drift out of my radar long enough for me to get killed with you not being pressured. Regardless of the places where the town could have done better near the end, you played it well enough to get there. Congrats on that.


I guess past that, any feedback I could get from people on my play style in my first game would be appreciated. I would also be curious to hear from FN as to why I was the choice on the night I died. I have a few theories, but want to hear the actual answer/answers.

haha that makes me feel better, though I will drop the leaving peeks in titles. However, the one good thing about it is that no one misinterprets them and that person will surely get lynched. I would never do that If i peeked a villager.

My theory about the end game was this... your best bet would have been to have Steve still alive on the final day with pretty much anyone. I kind of thought that leaving Tweedy alive with no counter-target would have doomed you... that Tweedy would figure it out. My other bet was that it would not matter if you could coax a vote out of Andrew early enough without overplaying your hand, that you would do so and win. Congrats on doing so.

thanks. my nks were basically chosen to incriminate binks near the end game and reverse engineer the other ones from there. i dont know if it was strategically correct to do so but me and crm felt that without getting binks mislynched at some point this game was impossible to win, not that we werent running horribly thin already

as for your NK im pretty sure it was 50% you had the most accurate idea of what was actually happening and 50% you were the clearest villa t the time

also my plan was to get magic/bink ez policy lynched near f7/f5. he put a huge wrench in that plan when he started making an absurd amt of sense and cleared himself for good

there was also a period of time after the magic/binks death match that magic, binks and someone else(tweedy) were making an absurd amount of sense and were homing in on the truth that was pretty close

Yeah. I wasn't ever definite on binks being a wolf, just that him being around was to the wolf team's favor. Had he been a wolf, it is an obvious benefit for him to live. Had he not been, it was pretty obvious that getting him slowly mislynched was the plan. I wanted him gone as a sort of "ok, wolves, now what?!?!" kind of like in "I know what you did last summer".

I figured me being clear was a big part of it. My last day, I took GREAT pains to not talk about me likely being killed soon. My "magic is so clear, may as well shoot him tonight" was a weak attempt to try to get you to hit him first and give me more time. I also had HOPED that I was scaring you a little bit, and that I wasn't totally jacking things up... so I'm happy to hear that was at least a small part of it.

Did you see any weaknesses in my villa game that gave you opportunities? (other than clearing you, of course)

i think you were real good clearing yourself as villa you had so many posts that only a villa would ever make. only thing i saw was that you defending crm for too long even when he started effectively lolcatting. that and i think someone did say you were "too villagery to be a villager"

would love to see you as a wolf in another game that'd be interesting
