I've never quite heard of Crime scene, but it sounds similar to Solve the Mystery.

Our running man usually has to do with puzzles/missions and solving them to find flags in posts from across the forum. It's basically teams versus teams to solve puzzles. I haven't played one in awhile so I can't really go indepth about the rules and gameplay. I'm pretty sure links to all old games can be found in the main thread.
