Since TV is the main source of entertainment for most of us right now, this seems like as good a time as any to revive this game.

This is a TV show theme song quiz. Your job is to correctly identify the name of the show that each of these songs are from. In the case of popular songs being used as a theme, I still just want the name of the show that the song is most identified with.

All of the themes used in this quiz are from shows that were released in 2000 or later.





HOW TO PLAY: PM 30 answers to me in a single, unspaced list. If you don't know a theme, simply put "don't know" or something similar. Or better yet, just take a stab in the dark...you never know! If you have any comments, put them at the bottom of the PM, not the top.

SCORING: In the past, I've always just given 1 point for correct answers, and 1 bonus point if you you are the only person to get a theme correct. I might use a more weighted scoring system this time, but that is TBD.

Please don't give away your scores in this thread, as it might discourage others to enter. These are generally low scoring games though, so don't be put off if there are a bunch of themes you don't recognize.

I don't have a set reveal date as yet, but I will give a couple of days notice once I do. I'll aim to do it within the next couple of weeks, provided I have enough entries by then. This will most likely be the last one of these I ever run, so hopefully we can get a good turnout.

i recognize hella of the songs that i can't quite put my finger on the show, but i knwo for sure i've seen hella episodes and i know the show. i hope it comes to me. i'll give it a few more listens over the next couple of days.

should get about 25-30 of these right im kidding obviously. in past games we were discouraged from posting itt how many songs we knew iirc

Fwiw, I plan to use a more balanced scoring system this time around, so the people who don't watch as much TV as others can still have a sweat.

Also, these games are meant to be hard, so what you consider to be a low score is not necessarily going to be the case.

I found it depressing, as it made obvious how much TV I watch, when I recognised so many tunes.

What was more depressing, however, was how I'd completely forgotten what the correct show was/what it was about/who was in it.

I think my wife and I got a perfect score on the 90s version. Our knowledge of TV has fallen off a cliff since then.
