Had a bit of a look but I think there is just too much ground to cover with too little info to get this. I don't think those 2 above fit the criteria either.

Also, narrowing down the type of place it is would've been much more helpful than location once we knew it was in Turkey imo.

I might have a better look tomorrow if it still isn't solved by then.

The Dara ruins and the Ana ruins are possibilities (although it looks like most of the Ani structures were built in the 11th century). I have absolutely zero confidence in either of them, but that's all I got.

There are a fair amount of monasteries/churches/castles/etc that do fit for the most part, but they either are not really tourist spots or are still active today. If nobody has anything better, I'm just gonna go with Ani in the next hour or so. Not much point in dragging it out any longer.
