Oh wow wtf. I guess it must be something from golf then, As I can't think of anything metallic from volleyball, which isn't a huge net pole.
I'm assuming golf clubs are out as they are all too big. Also assuming that golf shoes aren't mostly metallic? So that leaves some other rarer tool like a ball cleaner or stand?

It's pwns...for all anyone knows, it could be the metal bracket that holds a volleyball net together. You're best off abandoning and moving on.

Well that wasn't the point. But could you just a please confirm that a shotput and tennis racket would be "stationary"? Seeing as they are now ruled out. Not a question.

I would consider neither to be stationary

Ah ok, different to the last time then. I guess that narrows it down a bit.

Not a question: The wire holding up the net in volleyball could be it. Rolling it up would allow it to fit into the microwave, and like the example on size using a javelin (I think) was shown to be smaller than a carton of milk. That would the only thing I can think of.

could be a ballwasher! it's stationary, but it moves. like a windchime. about the size of a gallon of milk.

For discussion:
What about this stick. It's probably metallic and is might be flexible enough to fit in a microwave?

Edit: I'm not sure how to get an image to work

Do they have those sticks in beach volleyball, because our object is used outdoors.

Maybe, but those are used for practice, not the actual event in the Olympics.

yeah, and i really don't think there would be a problem shapewise with putting a bucket in the microwave, so probably not it
