Good result I think.

It's gotta be either running or something somewhat obtuse.

Ya hang on. Still track and field, weightlifting, boxing, etc.

Can't think of a famous Australian coach, but that's possible.

I was thinking it might be:

But he played aussie rules football. I think he's more known for his coaching though.

50+ alive Australian connected to non-team sports and not an Olympian.

Being Australian I should hopefully be able to solve this ****.

Athletes

We are starting to draw pretty slim here. I can't think of many non-Olympic, non-team sports that aren't golf or car racing. That last question was a bit unfortunate, should have asked whether it was any type of motor racing as it might be bikes. The only big name I can think of who is old enough is Wayne Gardner, but he did race cars for a bit afterwards so IDK.

Darts/snooker I can't think of anyone famous enough who fits the criteria but I don't follow those sports at all so maybe I'm wrong.

I assume poker isn't a "sport", I'm calling shenanigans if so.

Media personalities

I thought maybe Eddie McGuire, but again, he's 49.

One good possibility is Bruce McAvaney.
