If this answer is yes, then I think we have to guess Hitler. It'd be less than 50% but probably is more likely than any other answer.

If I understood it correctly, each player is allowed 5 strikes (yes answers count towards the 20 Qs but don't count towards a strike).

Actually, I think the answer to "is Goebbels a politician" would maybe have to be yes. So he may be ruled out anyway. *shrug*

No. It's Erwin "Dessert Fox" Rommel.

Might've been a little too tricky. I feel like you possibly could've narrowed it down to nazi leaders a bit more efficiently and solved it, but it probably would've required two (?) more questions in the end about how/when he died. Rommel died in 1944 after agreeing to take poisson after a fail attempt at killing Hitler.
