I would say probably not as that's only in very specific situations & golf isn't regularly played in both manners...although if this person was famous almost entirely for their Ryder Cup contributions, that would get murky...

If it's tennis, the best known are Clijsters and Mauresmo. There are a few others, but they aren't well known, I think.

Diving?

I guess it could be something like fencing or shooting too, but seems unlikely.

Yeah, I guess diving is possible. Fencing and shooting are more individual only, right?

And there are plenty of eligible tennis players.

Justine Henin is another one that immediately comes to mind.
