WN posting and leaving means very little, just because a wolf did it once doesn't mean it's wolfy of WN. Hell I doubt it'd even be wolfy for bhuber

You could probably argue that as a villager he's more likely to stick around for a little while, but we're talking pretty small %s there that don't move the needle much either way

And I think that's pretty obviously all dice is saying (rather than wn is villagery)

I was going to play all coy, but since you asked, I got the impression that Dice wanted to call Sim wolfy instead of assessing his role. Dice took issue with this:

That's pretty innocuous. I'd sooner criticize it for not saying anything worthwhile than saying too much. (Whatever you think of WN leaving right now, it's probably not going to be very significant when WN actually starts posting.)

Then there's you voting for WN and calling him wolfy, which Dice ignored. The difference might be that no one called your WN read wolfy, whereas with Sim, Dice could sponge Perdi's read of the WN post as "artificial".

imo diceman *was* essentially criticising sim's post for not saying anything worthwhile - he said that he was posting just to post, so basically he's posting reads that look gamesolvey/villagery but actually aren't - whilst also saying too much. I don't think they're mutually exclusive. I don't wanna put words into his mouth of course but that was my take, and I think it's somewhat valid although I think the more relevant thing to look at may have been sim's reaction to my calling him wolfy for use of a full stop, which looks very over-the-top/posting-just-to-post if you don't think it's just him trolling around. Kinda interesting that we both picked out different things I posted that we thought dice would point out, heh.

Dice's critique was that Sim was posting to post because his reasoning re WN was made up - that Sim should have known better. Disliking pop-ins is so very common, though, that I'm not sure why Dice would think that Sim specifically shouldn't be in that camp, especially as Sim's wording was pretty soft.

I agree that you could make the posting-to-post read on Sim that Dice did and back it up in a reasonable fashion, e.g. by focusing on the full stop issue and Sim's village lean on me and even the WN read, if looked from a different angle. (My take is that Sim may come across like that as a villager.) But Dice didn't say anything about those things.

Actually, it's questionable whether the last two sentences here are connected at all, or whether they're supposed to be two separate observations.

Tappo gets a wolf lean for trying to make something out of nothing with Dice. Dice's read on Sim felt genuine and I tend to agree with it. He is just posting to post.

Also, it appears Perdition and Dice are saying essentially the same thing about Sim Daniels but Tappo only takes issue with what Dice said.

binkles is kind of weird. but I think it's probably villagery. maybe. so like in the disney game I got mad -_- at him for pushing me early on just because I'd made some fluff posts during the super bowl and wasn't trying hard 24+ hours before night. But he turned out to be a villager

So my first reaction to him like voting me for that post and going to bed was that he was a villager doing the same thing, but my second thought was he was a wolf who was trying to trick me by doing the same thing even though it was turrible the last time and he should have learned it was turrible but then my third thought was that you have to pick one or the other and my fourth thought was that it was not really a very important part of that game and it doesn't seem like something a wolf would intentionally fake so explanation one is probably right. Bankles has apparently developed some inexplicable need to call me wolfy for bad reasons at the beginning of games. this deterioration is sad and regrettable but what can you do? Also his other posts seem OK except it was kind of odd to make a post saying it's bad to say that me posting and leaving is not wolfy and yet somehow I'm still wolfy anyway when literally I made just that one post which is role neutral as all hell (except I'd never post it as a wolf OH SNAP) so yeah

I dislike that one binkles post but he's probably just a sad, sad, little villager
