I wanted to lynch both the claimed angel and the claimed seer. The claimed seer more but I got talked into the idea that the angel was less risky
This was a case of thinking wolfiness > mechanics. I think I basically said as much. No one else seemed wolfy. That's the story of the game after lynching those two really :P
Did you not think lynching off wagon was even a consideration? What in particular was monstr doing that struck you as wolfy?
I've gotta go play chess with a 7 year old for a while. I believe I made a fair number of posts about monstr at the time which you could look at if you like.
I think that's sort of a clown question though, since if you'll recall this is the guy who soft-claimed power role to desolve his wagon d1 and then didn't get killed, but qq, who was pushing him super hard to hard claim, got killed instead
Master, on D1 I was all for lynching Mor but I was more focused on LB and especially the LB-WN dynamic. I actually would have preferred lynching WN there but there was no support for it.
I mean I have some sympathy for how WN feels about LB because I've worked well with Mor as V-V in the past and have seen him struggle. But yeah he was objectively very wolfy. As far as the claim it seemed "too convenient" but outright lynching him there was risky. I think I've talked at length about how I backtracked on Mets once Mor came out with the Mets=W peek.
As for Monstr, absolutely I would have preferred getting lynched there, I did think it could happen as there was no CC to Monstr. Mets was the leading proponent of getting e lynched, and I assume Mets quite often gets what he wants.
I have more I want to say about this, but in fairness to WN I'll lay my own slank cover because I'm at work and we're facing pre-holiday rush. bbiab.
Here's my thought process, which is more about why Master is a villager than WN is a wolf.
Honestly I like 55-45 Master coming in.
in a level 0 way he's been objectively wolfy
a lot of the reason I thought he was a wolf before was jumping off the LB wagon in a suspicious manner.
And he's been trying to get me lynched for a long time, so obviously that range alarm bells.
But through more conversation, apparently it's my late EOD1 switching that he found suspicious. But I thought he was suspicious for the same thing, and he did it because he thought QQ was suspicious!
in reality wolves rarely are willing to look that flat-out wolfy and find themselves stuck on wagons they're afraid to jump off.
If there was a wolf in this game playing well, which we know LB and Mor were not, WN's game fits that mold far more than Master.
For me, if it had been between Timon and WN it was an easy call, because of our mind-melds on a lot of subjects.
WN was villagery sporadically I believed, most notably his takedown on Mor. But Digger made the case here, he pretty much had to do that to get cred if we ever confirmed Mets' role.
WN's D4 was pretty wolfy as well. Like it was obvious he was always coming into a F3, and he was hardly considering me. I think a villager in that spot has to, and if he can't make a case on why I'm a wolf then he has to be pushing Timon right? Instead he let Digger and Mets do it.
D4 was yesterday right? Busy is not wolfy. Easy as wolf anyway. Just push someone. Villaging harder because nothing looks right. There's no reason to think as a wolf I'd have trouble pushing after mor and monstr. Instead I end up pushing mers? And then nk him? On the other hand mets wanted to kill baud all game. Fairly level 1. I wouldn't prolly even have cared too much since masters been so wolfy. But knowing baud is a wolf it's kind of funny
