• As long as the game is ongoing, you may only talk about the game inside the game thread. Please note that this includes PMing/skyping others about ANYTHING related to the game, no matter how harmless you feel your PM/skype is.
• You may only post in the game thread when it is DAY
• You may only post when you are alive
• If you have a role which allows you to communicate outside the game thread, then you may do so only when allowed by your role, and only with individuals specified by your role
• You may not edit or delete posts in the game thread for any reason at any time. You may also not edit or change in any way the title of your post, unless you are posting on a phone that strips out headers.
• You may not quote, post screenshots of, or directly refer to private communications from the mod. Do not mention PMs.
• You are expected to participate.
• You are expected to be familiar with the rules, and you are expected to abide by them even if you think they are incorrect
• You are expected to behave civilly

There's no post restriction, but please be sensible

Werewolf is a game about lying and catching people lying. It's an adversarial game and arguments between players are normal and expected. Passion and Intensity are fine but excessively personal attacks or insults are not.
Even in a werewolf game you must respect the forum rules about civility. Failure to do so may cause you to be infracted or temp banned, and repeated problems may get you perma-banned. I will certainly issue modkills to those who break this rule. Expect a warning in the thread and then if you reoffend, you will be modkilled. Warnings are not negotiable.

Werewolf is also a community and team-based game. While there are many styles and strategies and reasons for playing and you may choose your own, you are expected to be respectful of the time and energy others put in as players and as moderators. You are expected to play to win. Intentionally sabotaging your team, or choosing strategies with the sole purpose of trolling other players in the game is not allowed.

Further to this, I want to make it clear that pursuing strategies that involve not participating in the game at all is strongly deprecated. I will issue a warning if I believe you are not participating in the game. If you ignore the warning, I will issue a modkill. The warning will not be negotiable.

This does not mean you have to post a particular amount and no one is going to be punished if they only have a few minutes spare one day but "posting to avoid modkill" is frowned on.

The seer has a TRUE n0 peek from the whole player list.

Voting

Each day, each player is allowed (and encouraged) to vote to lynch a player. To do so, type the name of the player in bold.You may abbreviate the name of the player, provided it is clear to other players (and the moderator) whom you mean. Be aware that the vote counter does not mind shortened versions of names, but doesn't like other types of abbreviation, so it may take a while for the vote counter to adjust at times when I'm not watching it.

You may remove your vote by posting "unvote". You may change your vote simply by voting the new player; you do not need to unvote.

You may not at any time vote for no lynch. Any vote for no lynch will be disregarded.

At the given time for lynch, the player with the most votes is lynched, and his role revealed in the thread. If two or more players are tied for the most votes, one of the tied players is chosen randomly by the moderator.

There is no Majority Lynch on any day unless the game is at must lynch

At Must Lynch (where if a villager is lynched the game is over) votes will be LOCKED IN. There will be no unvoting or vote changing. Make sure to vote wisely!

Lynch Times
All times give are server time, which is also Eastern Standard Time.

I will open the thread on day 1 by posting "It is day." You may not post in the thread until I have made the morning post.

At 8pm each calendar day whoever is leading in votes will be lynched. The game will pause for one hour after the lynch and posting will not be allowed. I will restart the game by posting "IT IS DAY". Please do not post even if the thread is open. I'd hate to have to modkill someone for that. I will not punish posting that is a bit late but posting when it is clearly night will result in a modkill, even if you do it accidentally. If in doubt, don't post.

Because of the nature of the game, there will be a lynch on both Saturday and Sunday nights.

Wolf Chat

Wolves may communicate with each other by any means they desire during wolf chat.

Wolves have 24 hour chat

'Night' actions

Wolves must 'nightkill' within NINE hours of the lynch. If not received by then, the kill will be randed among the nonwolves. They are not restricted to nightkilling in the hour's pause.

Seer will receive results of their peek AFTER the nightkill is revealed in the thread or six hours after the lynch, whichever comes soonest. You may submit your peek at any time up to nine hours after the lynch.

I will rand peeks if I don't receive them within NINE hours.

Please note change from normal rules: THERE WILL BE NO SUBS. Anyone who has not posted at least once before one hour before each lynch will be modkilled after the lynch.

In the event of a villager being modkilled, the wolves will be allowed to nightkill twice.

In the event of a wolf being modkilled, there will be no night actions for either side

No lynch is not an acceptable vote. Wolves must nightkill each night. In the event of night actions not being received, I will rand them for each side.

As usual, the seer is permitted to peek if the thread is already open so long as he/she has not read any of it.

Please note the following:

Posting at night is not allowed. Just rarely I'm not around to call day but if this happens I will post in the thread. Unless I have posted in the thread that you may do so, do not post before I have called day, even if you think it should be day already.

I like my games to be welcoming to all players so I enforce the rule on civility. Reminder:

"you are playing bad" = fine
"you are a bad player" = not fine
"you are a ****" = modkill

I don't like modkilling people so please don't put temptation in my way. Aggressive play is fine. Abusive play is not.

I intended to include a modification of the rules for this and future games but I forgot. Here it is anyway:

If a modkill is made in the last hour of the day for any reason, that player will automatically become the lynch and night will be called immediately. The usual rules for adjustment after modkill will not apply and the thread will reopen an hour later. If a player in my view has purposely got themselves modkilled as a strategy, that player will be barred from my games permanently.

If a modkill is made in the night pause for any reason, the usual adjustments will be made before day is called.
