Yeah, and I didn't even include all the stories in Everything's Eventual because I couldn't recall all of the titles exactly, but a ton of his books tie directly into the dark tower multiverse.

yeah, i wouldn't have gotten 100. while i know the names of all the short story collections i know very few of the names of the stories within those collections.

I just finished The Long Walk, one of my favorites. In the middle of The Dead Zone now. Dark Tower series and The Stand will always be my favorites. I haven't made it to Christine in my rereading yet. Looking forward to seeing if I still think it's as good as I did years ago. Rage was just as good as I had remembered! Didn't know until just the other day that it's not being sold anymore due to all the school shooting shenanigans.

All 4 of the early Bachman books are very good reads. The styling of the running man is great, and the long walk will always be one of my favorite stories by him. Roadwork is ****ing heartbreaking even if I didn't grow up in the conditions that lead to the events.

Thanks! I used to be able to do all the novels chronologically too, but I think I would probably transpose a few now if I tried. I also knew a number of his magazine only publications, but forgotten most of them (I was kind of a freak about him through my middle and high school years.) Any time we had the opportunity to speak about literature or pop culture in speech classes I would come up with a new take on him or his stories to do.

I think the most impressive pop culture recitation I can remember is an old friend who memorized the Simpsons episode numbers (not like season 1 episode 1 but at the end of each episode there was a 4 digit production code usually having an f in it) if you gave him that code he could provide a full synopsis and several quotes as well as the chalkboard and couch gags for that episode

I say "lol". Only you North Americans put a weird drawl on it. If I was faced with having to say "lawl" I'd probably say "el oh el" too.
