It fit on one CD, and was released about 8-9 years ago. Of course, there is also a 30 #1 hit Elvis CD too.

Well at least you win the game if you get all the way through...you completed the task. So you get a psychic reward for winning. Kind of like finishing a video game, it feels good. Walking away is like pausing the game and turning it off.

Essentially my internal payoff matrix has losing by missing a question and walking away at the same valuation, and winning has slight positive utility.

Yes.
