I guessed A, because Mozart seemed too obvious, but Brahms seemed famous enough to be notable, but not enough for most people to know much about him, so it probably fit well. I don't know though; my answer is just a guess.

fwiw my reasoning was complete BS, I was ~100% sure and this is why. Yea I play StepMania/ITG a lot and I like this chart, so a while ago I was all "who the hell is Salieri?" and yea.

my reasoning for picking mozart would have been that he died extremely young and I never heard anything about the others dying young, and why would anyone start a legend about poisoning someone who had lived a full life?
