Taxes and government are evil -- conservatives tell us this so it must be so.

As for Wall Street, the markets are rational and hyper efficient. Alan Greenspan assures us that no regulation is needed because ivy league educated money men would never run a ponzi scheme on us.

Well, Alan was half right. Markets are efficient. It is just that unregulated markets are efficient at running scams because in an unregulated market, scams give the best returns. Oops, sorry for the trillions of dollar mistake.

gambling has every right to be taxed just as anything else...the issue is a matter of doing it such a way that the honest ones dont feel slighted by the cheats...i think the irs could make casinos track cash games, but that would probably cause a riot here..

accept its overregulation that has caused the ponzi schemes such as the banking industry on a whole and ofcourse the federal reserve
