Put a hundo on Carbon just to try it out. It's not perfect or even nice but it's playable for sure. I'm not going to put a lot of money on there, but when I get the urge to play at least I can play some .05/.10 or something.

How is it that some people from the US are still able to play at AP and UB even though they have a banner that clearly states otherwise? Is this illegal for the player at this point or is this an unknown?

Can someone make a thread with a poll for a vote to see what site available to the US is the best? I am trying bodog now and it sucks compared to stars or FTP.

There are some out there playing on vpns or that haven't logged out and had a software update.

try a merge skin like carbon or lock rpm..

I think there should be a sticky somewhere on the sites that we can play and info about each...i looked through that huge thread of where we should play and could not find the information i was looking for...

The sites I would consider moving to are

Lock
Cake
Bodog

but would like to know how long the cashouts are on each and if i would actually get my money? How is the software? How is the traffic?Can anyone this question for me?

I don't understand why this is even a discussion anymore. Boohoo, we can't play on FTP/PS anymore, maybe we should crawl into a corner and cry.

Merge has close to 10K players at peak times. SO

1) STFU and stop crying like a baby
2) Risk some money (that's what poker player do) and deposit on a different network with decent traffic (Merge)
3) PLAY Fn poker like men/women
4) join PPA and keep fighting the fight!

thanks for both of your responses...but i went and looked at thenuts.com who has rakeback for lock as well and it states on there that the sites i listed above are accepting US players

I am already out of the USA for work and have a resident visa and a bank acct. in local country, but guess I will have to wait to be able to change my address before I can resume play.

My main question is what happens if I go back to the US in say 5 months? Will I be banned from logging on from a US based IP?

My understanding is that it may be possible to us a VPN to avoid this, but I am quite ignorant on that so any help would be appreciated.

Stars has a FAQ on their restored .com site that says not to try it, your account could be seized if you attempt to play from the US with a VPN.

Gold or stocks. You transfer over these assets to the poker site and they set you up with a dollar value to play on and when you cash out you receive whatever the markets at for gold or stocks? Which then you can transfer it over to cash easily.

Wouldn't this technically be legal and it is easily converted to cash. Just have to hope the stock market or gold market doesn't tank haha it is like a double gamble.
