I am wondering why this isn't and option to donate on the PPA website.I know a lot more people would donate if there was an official Pokerstars PPA charity account or at least if they accepted Moneybookers.Stars and the PPA should get on this.

I thought Moneybookers was not available to folks in the US, am I wrong about this?

Direct deposit through any of the poker sites to the PPA has legal issues that we have not yet really found a way to get around.

I am from Canada.It is in the interest of more than just Americans to get the games booming again.I would love to donate some money and I am sure others with Moneybookers accounts would love to as well.

Well, you can't really blame us for not thinking about making it easy to accept donations from foreign players; but this is a case in which I actually hope that we are the ones who failed to see a possibility .

I will pass this idea along to see if there is any reason not to do it. Thanks.

The PPA has a connected Political Action Committee (PAC), which can accept contributions from PPA Board Members, PPA Employees and current dues paying members of the PPA. For more information on PokerPAC, you must be a current dues paying member of the PPA.
