Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if it legal to play online poker in 2012 in the Republic of Ireland (so it is not in the UK) on the .com poker rooms?

Are there any upcoming changes expected?

I cannot find an recent information for this country. I am a French MTT player and Im interested in moving in another country to be able to play bigger online tournament.

Thank you for your help!

Poker is perfectly legal in ireland. Online poker is legal. You can play as you wish in the Rep. of Ireland. All of it tax-free.
Didn't even know it was banned in Northern Ireland. Sad situation for northerners.
