As a general matter, however, absent some very narrow exceptions (such as incitement to imminently violate laws), you have First Amendment right in the United States to talk freely about any subject, and that would include discussing poker on the internet.
PLAYING poker, of course, is a different matter, and has been covered at length in threads here.
