getting kinda scared guys... was certain that one of you guys (engineer, phil, biga, px, etc... ) would swoop right in all fast like an eagle to correct me and tell me that the bills are getting pushed through to a vote and it is imminent or something like that. the lack of such worries me.

There has been no movement on the bills, the frank bill just picked up 4 more cosponsors:

Frank Online Gambling Bill Not Likely to See 2009 Review

After missing several previous self-imposed target dates, Barney Frank has admitted his bill to regulate and license online gambling sites probably will be put aside until October at the earliest. Some Congressional observers say the bill will have to be relegated to legislation to be taken up after the New Year.
No-one knows if these bill's will even be debated or voted on in committee much less brought to the full body for a vote. It doesn't look good for legislation this year IMO but there is still time for it to happen.

The UIGEA reg implementation delay bill could possibly get a vote this year. There is work going on behind the scenes. I'd say we have at least a 50% shot of getting that. If that fails, there are fallback plans, including litigation.

There are also efforts to get a hearing on the Frank licensing bill in the House this year.

If we get the delay (via legislation, litigation, etc.), we'll be on target to push the Frank licensing bill forward while continuing to build support in the Senate.

Awesome! IIRC you said not too long ago that probability of getting a vote on the delay bill was much lower than 50%, so if true this is great news. Actually it's great news no matter what because this delay bill is of utmost importance
