Hi,
I am thinking about going to Germany to live with some friends next year. Can someboy tell me how taxes work there??

You don't have to pay taxes in Germany for gambling.

However if the german IRS can prove that you constantly win they can argue that is a form of income for you and tax you. But you have to be pretty stupid to have to pay taxes for poker in Germany.

You want to go to a place that is awesome and has good live games, such as Berlin or Wiesbaden or Baden Baden. But Berlin is probably best. Its cheap to live there as well and prolly one of the best places to live in Germany.

maybe slightly off topic but i love this song:

taxes? we don't pay no taxes on poker in germany. even though sometimes you may have to fight some pedantic tax collector in court to prove this.

But is legal money like uk? or for example i cant buy a car with this money? where can i have more information about this?

Yes they have casinos wher eu can legally play and of course online is legal also.

they also have slot casinos on every corner and slot machines in every gas station and bar.

Yes you can buy a car with it and drive it on the autobahn at top speed.

I suggest to do it at least once a day. It makes men happy :-)

I would think Germany is about the freest country of the western world. The key problem with it is taxes, which as a poker player you can completely avoid.
