My understanding — and please understand that this is not in any way official — is that no more testers are needed, nor will be for a while if at all. Also, and more importantly, I guess aorn things are in the Tapatalk people's hands. It turns out 2p2 has a ton of custom stuff added to the regular vBulletin base, and accomodating these things at least reasonably well is the hangup.
It's apparent from all my discussions with kiera et al that they're committed to delivering a quality product, and what was first delivered from the tapatalk folks had some issues that made some aspects of browsing a problem. That, more than the craziness of the past couple weeks (which I'm sure doesn't help matters), is why we're waiting.
I am confident whatever is released will be an infinitely better experience than opera mini, mirren, or whatever other browsers we're trying to format this site in.
Oh, what we have right now satisfies that criterion — by comparison with opera and safari, anyway (all I've tried) it's a joy to use. But the PTB clearly want everything on the forum to be readable, and there are still some issues with that.
