Yes, we shouldn't be afraid of embarrassing ourselves at times. Let the thread stand OP. It will make a lot of people feel better about themselves.

And if you had the problem, someone else might as well. Then they may do the search, and voilá, they find your (locked) thread and don't have to make a new one about it!
