guy posts a thread in OOT about his new roommate shoplifting when they went to ikea together. new roommate is a woman. i can't think of a more obvious place for 'try hitting her' other than maybe a guy poasting about his girlfriend constantly scraping her teeth on his shaft during felatio or something. somebody needs to go splain to mike haven what is and is not funny.

OP, what is your point? You didn't have the nutsack to actually post 'try hitting her' in that thread so you opened this thread? Or did you post 'try hitting her' in the thread and get infracted or banned or something? Someone needs to 'splain' to you what exposition is.

OP, I could very well be remembering wrong, but you were not even the first person to say "try hitting her" in that thread.

In fact, someone said "...Try hitting her! How has no one said this yet? lollolol" and one of the mods responded "Because in OOT it is a banable offense" and then like 20 posts later you go "TRY HITTING HER"

I'm like 98% that's how it went down.

As we've learned in the past, all you need to do is change the wording slightly so that people still understand what you mean yet you're not actually saying it.

Only downside is that it loses some of it's bite:

So may I suggest:

"Try hitting fur"

"Try nitting with her"

"Try making a top-hit... with her."

etc

ps 'slitting' and 'litting' will get you ip-banned.

This is too complicated.

I suggest he try:

"Try hitting Herr", which could really mean "try hitting him" (German obv.) or "try hitting former Cardinals' second baseman Tommy Herr". Nobody could possibly ban you for this.

Okay I think I was the dude, or atleast the first dude, who said try hitting her. I posted it and a few minutes later got the PM and infraction points which is ironic because I was reading the sticky and thought "Hmm, Im probably going to get those." Sho nuff it happened.

I think its great the mods are doing something to restore some quality to the forums. Try hitting her is a great response in BBV, BBV4L etc. but sometimes its better to contribute something meaningful.

Yes. OOTers don't find these sort of jokes funny at all. It's not nice to post things too sophisticated for the readers to understand.
