Do they still butterfly the steaks at Sizzler?

I guess sign language is out... I don't think the s/w is that bad, really.

I suggest merging with 4chan ( www.4chan.org ) they are a bunch of hardcore japanophile geeks so its a perfect match with 2+2 imo.

I think their sections such as cosplay and cookery forums would be a great idea as well as giving us boards like /s/ and /b/.

Also I really like the advanced forum software they use.

The best forum software I've ever seen is Prospero's, but they use their own software and I don't think they sell it.

anything but this. Go back to ubb while you look for something else.

I doubt you really mean that. For instance, UBB 7 was practically unusable.

To me the point with anyone who just despises vB should be that we have three major options available to us as a large board:

vBulletin
Invision Power Board
phpBB

The first two are somewhat similar, with us giving the edge to vB. The newer phpBB can be made to look very nice, but its track record with security and site management is less than stellar.

oh i mean it...if you had to peruse these forums from my perspective you'd be looking for a new place it is pretty bad. I've been lurking 2+2 for 4 years and this really sucks. Maybe ypur pages load fast, if so then it guess it is ok. But this isn't the dial up age and it sucks having to wait 10-15 secs for a page load...just giving healthy feedback

Anything related to performance is good feedback.

Overall most seem to be getting quick page loads from what we've been hearing. Because of differences in behavior you may currently get better results in firefox than IE, though.
