I did a search one time and my search terms have seemed to stay highlighted in some of the posts I read now. I finally noticed today that when I hover over the "1,2,3" for page jumps in, but not outside, of a thread, there's an extra ?highlight= stuck at the end of the link. Is this a bug or how can that get turned off?

Delete cache, log out, close and reopen browser log back in.
Rinse, repeat.

try a new browser though and see if you get the same problem, you shouldn't.

reinstall browser is probably an easy way to fix it, assuming it doesn't save your settings.

If you actually want to find out what the problem is though, then uh don't do that.
