I understand you not caring it about. I really do. We need to do something about Wookie's moderation though. He permabans a number of participants, with zero warning, including thoughtful reasonable people who post good content elsewhere, which is bad for this forum.
I think if you went back through Wookie's bans, you'd find nearly everyone he bans has a different ideology to him. Some of those posters broke no rules except in his imagination. He allows rampant trolling and personal attacks from people on his side but bans anyone else who gets out of line on the other side - unless they're someone who put the alternative case poorly and they can be laughed at/trolled.
I suggest requiring a log of Wookie's bans and reasons, similar to what we have in unchained (kerowo logs his mod decisions, for example). A little transparency would be good for the politics forums. Right now he just does what he wants and we've lost good posters in other forums because of it.

the one option available to almost everyone who was banned from the site is an exile from politics so they can use the site for more important things like talking about poker, movies or food.
When you're instantly permabanned, with zero warning, this option isn't given to you. Wookie should warn/infract before permabanning - instead he has instantly permabanned a number of very reasonable posters with zero warning. I don't know if he gets drunk and decides he wants to lay down the law, but he's really not fit for being a mod. If you disagree, at the very least require transparency so we can judge for ourselves and 2p2 not lose posters.
