Totally agree, I wish Ryan Beal (name left intact so he can find this) will confirm publicly that the absolutely horrid vB poll options cannot be modified. UBB polls were better in every way - in-thread, could choose the number of choices, could have multiple polls. The only way vB's are better is the public poll option, which should be default but isn't.

(By the way, I think most people would agree by now that as a whole vB is WAY better than UBB, even the grumblebunnies who hate change. But the poll setup is terrible.)

i wish we had the ability back to put multiple questions and such, but I'm glad you can't put a poll in the middle of a thread.

it used to be really annoying to make a post asking a question that was intended to generate discussion and have some schmuck post be like "needs a poll" and post one in the 3rd reply.

Agree with Tony.

Also I still suspect the reason for some of the limitations comes from vB tracking poll results in a few ways. For instance, now seeing who voted is an option. I think people would miss that a lot, so it's not like this software doesn't add anything useful.

AngryCola, you have a point, however what we really want is the ability to see who voted in a multiple question poll!
