You could be factually correct, but it wouldn't be proper to make that assumption. There exist several other reasonable explanations. They include:

a) overheard conversations and hearsay
b) Mason using admin privileges to snoop in PM mailboxes and finding correspondence that suggests that Jman may have linked at Gary Wise's behest
c) past experience that Gary Wise has asked people in the past to post links for him and/or that Jman has done this in the past for Wise or others

It's fairly obvious that some people are coming into this thread with a preconceived notion of Mason Malmuth as a thin-skinned internet dictator and automatically jump to the worst possible interpretation of events without giving proper weight to the actual range of actions and motivations.
