It primarily serves to save me the time it takes to read their posts, and with some people if I keep reading their stupid posts I'll just end up wasting time replying to them to show them how stupid they are.

For example, do you realize how much time you would save if you never read anything that BluffTHIS! writes? Each post of his is an essay.

Well Ike, to give you a break, I just know your posts from politics and on average I'd say they're pretty bad. But I also know, my SMP, MTT, EDF (any other forum?) posts are much better than my politics posts. Politics usually brings the worse on people.

That's a ridic good ignore list on soah's part. My only objection with it was "Daddy Warbucks".

Clark's old list was a product of ignoring everybody who dared to dislike/like something. As a result he's got some ridic good posters ignored.

My old list used to be pretty good until it was decided the mods couldn't ignore people

NOW... IT IS ON.

Also now would be a good time to mention that I'm now ignorable!!!

I think I have, like, one person on ignore who posts in forums I actually read.

My UBB list was longer, and basically has one criterion: "an idiot who trolls me and has never posted anything useful". Even then, I don't have everyone who fits that description on ignore. I just stopped caring some time ago.
