oldschool,

Yes and, no offense, but probably at much higher stakes than you. There is very, very little difference and few interesting hands come up in the spots where the differences show themselves.
Im aware of the stakes you play (which is why i try to be respectful in my post), I just think that the simple fact that fr winrates are less means that in some way the game has to be diff...no? i mean yah most of the time the only diff in a fr hand to 6 man hand is that you should fold =) but i think things are diff especially in 3 bet pots. However i have played some 400-1knl fr games which do play much more agg similar to shorthanded but still not quite IMO.

I think it may be a problem that the NLHE FR forums say "full ring" in their titles but the other ones don't say "shorthanded" in their titles. I'm a FR poster (though currently impeded by the Bodog handgrabber's disappearance in December) and want to see FR healthy. I don't spend much time in the "shorthanded" forums, but it's my impression that plenty of FR discussion still goes on in there because people aren't aware that there are specific FR forums, or have just become used to posting where they do. Wouldn't it be better to clarify the names of the non-FR NLHE forums?

it pretty clearly says Full Ring on the Full Ring forums, i don't think clarifying that the other forums are not full ring will make a difference.

This is not the case.
